Job Purpose
Join our Global Sourcing and Procurement team as a Buyer/Senior Buyer. Your main role will be executing procurement strategies for assigned components (goods/services) to ensure that quality, cost effective products are delivered in a timely manner. Your responsibilities

• Participates in defining procurement strategies and activities to mitigate risk together with the project manager,
• Capable of resolving commercial issues, and has advanced skills to manage purchase orders of high values and complexity,
• Fulfills strategic inquiring and purchasing activities within time and budget,
• Makes sure all the information necessary for issuing the inquiry is available,
• Checks purchasing conditions are applicable to the project and if not, reports to the Project Procurement Manager,
• Expedites bids,
• Conducts negotiations with vendors,
• Prepares the purchase order documents in due time and checks for quality
• Contributes to recovery of amounts with important clients relevant to back-charges already notified to the vendors,
• Continuously communicate order status with internal stakeholders, and ensure accuracy of system data,
• May serve as technical expert in a Purchasing domain,
• Proactively support less experienced Buyers,
• Drive improvement initiatives.

You are meant for this job if you have

• Bachelors degree in finance, engineering, supply chain or administration,
• Around 3 years of experience within procurement, material management and/or planning,
• English and Polish - fluent,
• Analytical skills and problem solving skills,
• A customer focused, proactive and innovative mindset,
• Strong ability to build and maintain effective networks and relations at all levels,
• Experience in SAP or equally complex business system would be an asset,
• Experience in Microsoft Excel would be an asset,
• Competency in modern quality principles in large and complex organizations would be an asset.
