ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Your primary focus will be analysing and connecting data from different sources to provide a holistic understanding of market trends and categories performance drivers. Your impact will derive from using it as a base for forecasting outlook of the business as developing the strategy and shaping our product portfolio, distribution, and pricing.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Monitoring the competitive landscape.
• Providing insights on market trends and building recommendations for product, distribution, and pricing strategies across multiple categories.
• Analysing sales data from multiple sources (internal and external, i.e. Nielsen Retail Audit data).
• Reporting BAT key brands performance, incl. outlook based on trends observed.
• Monitoring effectiveness of activities ran by Marketing teams and providing recommendations for further improvement.
• Modelling BAT forecast per category for future projections.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

• Proven track record in a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience in analysing large sets of data and summarizing the outcomes in a short & concise way.
• Ability to use past and current data to project the outlook on the market and categories.
• Business acumen to generate recommendations and present them to Senior Management.
• Storytelling abilities to present an understanding upon the data.

BENEFICIAL

• Experience in market/category forecasting would be an advantage.
• Experience in other FMCG or agency would be an advantage.
