Lighting Designer

Do you have what it takes to be the new Lighting Designer in Solar? If you have mastered your project engineering skills within technical lighting, you may be just a small step before you can embark on an exciting adventure with our Lighting Design department in Solar Polska.

You will be situated at the main office of our Polish subsidiary, Solar Polska Sp. z o.o. in Łódź. However, your everyday tasks will stem out of the close cooperation between Solar Polska and other Scandinavian based Solar companies.

Your tasks

• As the Light Engineer in Solar, you will be part of the Solar team responsible for the process of handling the light projects.
• You will have a unique opportunity to co-create the department’s workflow and participate in the development of its organisational culture.
• Identifying best possible design options.
• Performing the DIALUX EVO calculations.
• You will not have to perform your work independently but you will get all the necessary support from your colleagues both in Poland and abroad.

As you will take part in cross-organisational projects and cooperate with partners from abroad, you may expect a highly international working environment.

Your qualifications

• We expect you to be up to date with the newest trends and technologies in the lighting field
• You have a relevant technical university education, the lighting technology specialization would be an advantage.
• At least two years of experience with DIALUX EVO at expert level
• Several years of experience in project engineering of technical lighting for larger lighting projects.
• You have a structured approach to projects and keep a sense of perspective – also when things go fast.
• You know how to meet deadlines and are able to “keep several balls in the air”.
• You are able to speak and write English fluently
• You know how to efficiently work with people from different cultures and business areas.
