Operations Manager (they/she/he)

TIER Mobility is Europe’s leading shared micro-mobility provider, with a mission to Change Mobility for Good. By providing people with a range of shared, light electric vehicles, from e-scooters to e-bikes and e-mopeds, powered by a proprietary Energy Network, TIER helps cities reduce their dependence on cars. Founded in 2018 by Lawrence Leuschner, Matthias Laug and Julian Blessin.

Recently we have closed a financial transaction to merge with Dott. Together we create the European champion of shared micro-mobility, with revenues of €250m, supporting over 125M trips a year in more than 20 countries. Following this closing, teams across TIER and Dott will be progressively integrated. There has never been a more exciting time to join this ride!

Permanent / Full-time position

THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT TIER

• Lead our operations and ensure that all vehicles are safe, fully charged and are at the right place & at the right time for our customers;
• Ensure that the fleet is intact, active on the street, and core KPIs are hit (e.g. rides/e-scooter);
• Own the operations KPIs in your area; plan and prioritize the operations team’s work based on data analysis insights;
• Manage the team of Operations Partners, Operations Associates and Maintenance & Repair Associates;
• Support management with regular business reviews and provide input to planning;
• Identify improvement opportunities with cross-functional stakeholders; project manage implementation of selected initiatives.

YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years experience in a similar role;
• Prior experience in the mobility, transport, or logistics industry (e.g. Uber, Lime, Deliveroo) is preferred;
• Analytical & data-driven; knowledge of data tools & visualisers (e.g. Excel, Looker and Kepler) is a plus;
• Ability to give directions and supervise teams and external partners;
• Organized and structured mentality; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent problem solving & troubleshooting skills;
• Ability to work under minimum supervision;
• Excellent communication skills in English and Polish;
• Availability to travel several days in a month in the Region;
• Drivers license, preferred, but not mandatory.
