Stanowisko: Data Engineer (All Genders)

Your Key Responsibilities

• Developing data pipelines and applying methods and tools to collect, store, process and analyze complex data sets globally for assigned operations or functions
• Designing, governing, building and operating solutions for large-scale data architectures and applications across businesses and functions
• Selecting, managing and working hands-on with big data tools and frameworks, and implementing ETL (extract, transform, load) tools and processes as well as data virtualization and federation services
• Engineering data integration pipelines and reusable data services using cross-functional data models, semantic technologies and data integration solutions
• Defining, implementing and applying data governance policies for all data flows of data architectures with focus on the digital platform and data lake
• Defining and implementing policies for data ingestion, retention, lineage, access, data service API management and usage, in collaboration with data management and IT function

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, information technology, engineering or comparable qualification
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (min. B2)
• Proficient understanding of distributed and Cloud computing principles and technologies
• Experience with Streaming and Event based Data Architecture
• Experience in working with Cloud environments and services, preferably with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Event Hub, Azure Data Explorer, Stream Analytics. etc)
• Strong programming skills in PySpark, Java, SQL and Kusto Language; Software development experience is a plus
• Experience in data modeling (ER, UML) and proficiency in SQL
• Experience with non-relational databases such as MongoDB for example, their query languages and fields of application
• Good analytical skills in data analysis and visualization (eg. Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Experienced in agile environments (i.e. flat hierarchies in daily work), combined with agile mindset and corresponding experience in daily work
• Awareness or Pierwsza experience with GenAI (either as user or developer)
