Our backend is powered by Node.js (Koa, NestJS) and MongoDB. The frontend stack includes Webpack, Vue.js, and React, with nearly all code written in TypeScript. For high‑throughput messaging and background processing, we use Kafka and Bull (Redis). Analytics data is stored in ClickHouse, and we use Elasticsearch for search.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to join the Campaign Pages team. In this role, you will lead the development of one of the Firma’s key products – a complex donation landing page that supports more than a dozen payment methods, localization into 20+ languages (including RTL), Kraj‑specific payment flows, and runs dozens of A/B tests every year. We already have a strong team of developers and a product and technical roadmap in place, but we need a strong technical leader to guide the team.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead a team of 3‑5 full‑stack developers.
  • Write and review code (approximately 70/30 split in favor of management).
  • Ensure the team follows Firma processes and engineering guidelines.
  • Own the delivery of features and adherence to deadlines.
  • Make technical decisions, prepare technical designs for new features, and align them with neighboring teams and your manager.
  • Manage technical debt and maintain the technical backlog for your team.
  • Mentor and develop engineers; conduct regular 1:1 meetings.
  • Onboard new team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of software development experience, 2+ years as a Team Lead or Engineering Manager managing 5‑10 developers.
  • A hands‑on leader who can write code, make sound technical decisions, and design systems thoughtfully.
  • Strong people‑management skills – hiring, coaching, giving feedback, and resolving conflicts.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a full‑stack developer.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product companies working with our stack: TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis.
  • Experience in fast‑growing companies or startups is a plus.
