As a Custom Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and enhance software components for a large‑scale technology initiative within the Software Engineering organization. The role focuses on building scalable and high‑performing solutions in C++ and Linux, with direct contribution to an unmanned traffic management system for drones used by real‑world customers. You will work independently, actively participate in team discussions, and provide expert technical input throughout the development process. Key Responsibilities: Design and build software systems that support real‑world drone operations and deliver features used by drone pilots around the world. Develop and enhance components across systems and applications using modern frameworks and engineering practices. Work with large‑scale technical infrastructure and ensure that delivered solutions meet performance and reliability expectations. Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues to maintain optimal system behavior. Contribute to continuous improvement by proposing innovative approaches and best practices in software development. Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge within the team. Collaborate closely with team members to understand project requirements and deliver high‑quality software components. Adapt to evolving project needs and technologies while keeping focus on delivering business value. Qualifications: +3 years of experience working with C++ and demonstrate expert‑level proficiency. Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles and modern development practices. Advanced proficiency in working with Linux environments. Ability to work independently and develop subject‑matter expertise. English proficiency and experience working in a professional environment.
