ABOUT THE ROLE: Are you a QA Automation Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Join the Sportsbook team at LeoVegas and help shape the future of our betting platform. Your work will directly impact millions of users, ensuring a secure, seamless, and high-performance experience across all our global brands. Working in a collaborative Agile team alongside skilled Java, TypeScript, and QA engineers, you will design robust test strategies and define clear scopes aligned with business goals. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Designing, executing, and maintaining test cases for backend and frontend components Identifying opportunities for automation across the betting flow and contributing to their implementation Supporting the design and maintenance of automated tests (API, UI, E2E) Collaborating with developers and QAs to define testing scope and ensure adequate test coverage Executing manual and automated tests as part of the development lifecycle Reporting, tracking, and verifying defects, ensuring timely resolution Contributing to improving test processes, reliability, and overall product quality Communicating risks and findings clearly to team members and stakeholders OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING: ESSENTIAL SKILLS Experience with backend test automation using Java Practical experience with automated API testing Familiarity with REST APIs and basic understanding of microservices architecture Proficiency with test management tools (e.G. TestRail or similar) Understanding of Agile/Scrum and modern software development practices NICE TO HAVES Experience with frontend testing including UI automation tools (Playwright) Experience with CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of event-driven systems Experience with performance testing ISTQB certification Interest in or experience with the iGaming domain WHAT WE VALUE: Proactive mindset - you identify issues and opportunities to improve quality Collaborative approach - you work closely with developers, PMs, and other QAs Curiosity about the product - you want to understand the betting domain, not just test it WHO WE ARE: At the core of LeoVegas Group is Team Leo.
