It's more than a job In this IT role, you will manage, develop, and support the technology infrastructure that powers Kuehne+Nagel’s global systems and operations. In this Quality Assurance role, you will help ensure the reliability, stability, and quality of the digital solutions that support Kuehne+Nagel’s global Air Logistics operations. Your work will contribute to seamless services across our worldwide Air Logistics network, supporting the movement of essential goods — from healthcare products to everyday deliveries. Working in Quality Assurance at Kuehne+Nagel contributes to more than we imagine. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our applications meet user needs and maintain the highest quality standards. Working closely with developers, product owners, project managers, and external vendors, you will contribute throughout the entire software development lifecycle — from requirements analysis and test planning to validation, release support, and continuous improvement. Using both manual and automated testing approaches, you will help deliver reliable, scalable, and user-focused solutions while contributing to modern QA practices, automation, and AI-driven quality initiatives. Develop and implement QA strategies, frameworks, and best practices across all project phases. Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests for enterprise applications, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Review and validate requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to ensure quality and testability. Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, project managers, and external vendors to align quality goals and delivery expectations. Identify, document, track, and verify software defects while ensuring effective regression testing and issue resolution. Monitor and report QA metrics, including defect trends, test coverage, and testing progress to support continuous improvement. Support requirements gathering, user story creation, documentation, and data analysis activities for business and technical solutions. Contribute to agile development processes by promoting automation, proactive problem-solving, and a quality-focused mindset. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright, including automated test design and maintenance. Experience with AWS (or alternatively GCP/Azure) environments and cloud-based applications, combined with knowledge of relational databases and SQL for data validation and analysis. Familiarity with CI/CD processes, automated testing pipelines, and modern development practices such as TDD, BDD, and XP. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
