About the project

Are you an experienced DevOps professional passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and driving infrastructure excellence? We are looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to lead DevOps, Infrastructure, and Tooling functions for a global technology team supporting business-critical applications.

Your responsibilities

Work collaboratively with development teams to design and deliver infrastructure solutions for applications running on GCP and On-Prem environments.
Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and tooling.
Develop and enhance Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Manage CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity) and ensure deployment quality.
Automate operational and maintenance tasks for Linux-based systems.
Support production and non-production environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
Oversee DevSecOps practices, vulnerability patching, disaster recovery, and service sustainability.
Evaluate and optimize existing applications and tooling; introduce improvements to enhance performance and stability.
Provide end-to-end technical support, including network troubleshooting, MQ and sFTP setup, certificate-based security (TLS), and coordination with global IT teams.

Our requirements

Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps and GCP environments.
Strong knowledge of DevOps toolchain: Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Flux, GitHub, Maven.
Expertise in CI/CD automation and cloud infrastructure provisioning in GCP (CloudSQL, GKE, Pub/Sub).
Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python; Golang is a plus).
Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, CloudSQL, and relational database systems.
Experience with Linux administration and containerized platforms.
Familiarity with TLS implementations, messaging systems (IBM MQ, Solace), and sFTP connectivity.

Optional

Hands-on experience in Java/microservices architecture.
Background in working with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
Exposure to DevSecOps pipelines, REST APIs, and cloud-native observability practices.
