Senior Finance Transformation Consultant – EPM/CPM

The opportunity

EY GDS Polska is offering an exciting opportunity within our Finance Consulting Practice. We are seeking a Senior Finance Consultant with solid project EPM/CPM (FP&A, Financial Consolidation, External/Narrative Reporting) experience involving technologies like Tagetik, OneStream, Anaplan, Oracle (inc. HFM), SAP, TM1/IBM Planning Analytics, Jedox, Prophix. In this role, you will support our clients in creating and maintaining high-quality integrated planning and reporting solutions. You will work on client projects within various environments, various technologies, improving business processes and functions through advanced data analysis. Your responsibilities will also include developing and implementing new IT-based solutions in the area of data analytics and financial management systems. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs, execute plans, and provide ongoing support to ensure successful outcomes.

 Your key responsibilities

• Integrated Planning and Reporting: Support clients with services in FP&A and financial controlling, assist with challenges in consolidation and reporting, and lead EPM deployment projects.
• EPM Modelling: Provide advisory services, best practice and standards on effective EPM  system and process architecture. Help customers to achieve maximum value of their EPM deployments.
• Digitalization of financial processes: Work in teams that combine accounting expertise with IT and process competence deploying and optimizing Enterprise Performance Management platforms.

• Core Consulting skills such as data analytics and interpretation, applying structured problem solving skills, Project Management skills and the development of Market insights and intelligence.
• Understanding multidimensional modelling, dimensions, facts.
• Good articulation skills is a must
• Proficiency in English
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
• Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
• Capability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
• Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
• Open to learn new technologies quick.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Proficiency in one of the forementioned EPM technologies including setup, configuration, and customization.
• Technical skills to write integration scripts, advanced logic formula etc. depending on technology you have experience with
• Strong understanding with finance data modeling, financial reports and statements and knowledge of financial planning processes and / or finance consolidation.
• Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes, including data migration for prior periods, postings, and understanding of financial statements.
• Knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Familiarity with other business intelligence (BI) and Corporate Performance Management (CPM) tools.
• Ability to provide accounting advice and guidance on various process transition-related topics.

Ideally, you'll also have

• Knowledge of the following solutions: reporting (PowerBI), ERP (SAP, Dynamics).
• Experience in translating business requirements to technical language and model.
• Good experience in Chart of accounts (CoA) design.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience in managing/supervising teams of people on project work.
• Openness to travel (Domestic & International).
• Master's degree in Finance and Accounting or any other related
• 5+ years of total consulting experience
• 2+ years' experience in Business Process Transition and Business Finance Transformation
• Relevant certifications in EPM technology of choice are highly beneficial.
