Would you like to join the leading international intergovernmental organization? The CIS Network Administration Technician is responsible for providing expert-level management, support, and maintenance of the network infrastructure (LAN). The role involves ensuring the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of network services in accordance with NATO and NCIA requirements. The technician will play a key role in incident resolution, network configuration, documentation, and ongoing system improvements to support NATO missions and training exercises Responsibilities: Perform daily management, monitoring, and support of network devices and infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, access points, and controllers. Ensure the timely resolution of incidents in adherence to SLA response times, minimizing network downtime. Develop, maintain, and update network configuration documentation, incident reports, and preventive maintenance plans. Implement changes, upgrades, and new implementations based on project requirements and technical directives. Maintain network security measures in compliance with NATO and organizational policies. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure network integrity, performance, and security. Stay current with the latest network technologies and security standards; obtain and maintain relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA). Support disaster recovery and business continuity plans, including testing and documentation. Generate reports, performance summaries, and improvement proposals to enhance network operations.
