For our client, Global Consumer Goods Firma we are looking for candidates for Ocean Logistics Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating sea freight operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Responsibilities: operational oversight: managing the overall ocean freight business within the EMEA region, strategy performance: developing and implementing long-term logistics strategies, influencing performance, and aiming for operational efficiency, supplier carrier management: coordinating with freight carriers, negotiating pricing with shipping lines, and managing relationships with key stakeholders, process optimization : identify and implement process improvements using data analytics, KPIs, and lean methodologies, compliance risk management: ensuring adherence to international transport regulations, customs procedures, and trade laws, team leadership: leading and managing a team of logistics professionals across Europe in a fast-paced environment, cost optimization: finding ways to reduce shipping costs and improve overall logistics performance and profitability. Requirements: bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is often preferred, proven leadership and management experience in logistics and supply chain operations, preferably in a multinational B2B setting, proficiency in logistics software and MS Office applications, deep understanding of international sea freight, including import/export, regulations, and freight forwarding, strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills. fluency in English is essential.
